On the morning of August 8, 2024, the topping-out ceremony was held for Phase I of the production base project of Shanghai Jinxiang Mechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Shangcai Testing Machine Co., Ltd. This milestone marks a new chapter in the development of both companies. Representatives from the companies and the construction team gathered to jointly witness this historic moment.
A towering edifice rises from the ground, with every step imbued with wisdom and hard work. From the meticulous project initiation and comprehensive planning to the detailed design phase, followed by rigorous construction, stringent supervision, and painstaking acceptance inspections, each stage reflects the dedicated efforts and unwavering commitment of all those involved. Today, as Chairman Qian Baogen, General Manager Wei Zhiqing, and the project’s principal leaders jointly held golden shovels to pour the final batch of concrete for Phase I of the production base of Shanghai Jinxiang Mechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Shangcai Testing Machine Co., Ltd., the topping-out ceremony concluded successfully. This milestone marks a new chapter in the development of Shanghai Jinxiang Mechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Shangcai Testing Machine Co., Ltd.
Shanghai Jinxiang Company and Shangcai Company are currently the only manufacturers in the industry that possess both robust capabilities and a substantial scale in producing metallographic sample preparation equipment and hardness testers. This production base project involves the renovation and expansion of the existing facility, with a total land area of 20 mu, to be developed in two phases: Phase I covers approximately 7 mu, while Phase II spans about 13 mu. Phase I is scheduled for completion and commissioning in 2025. Following the upgrade and expansion, our company will redesign and reallocate space, optimizing the layout of production areas, offices, and material warehouses to reduce operational and labor costs across all processes, thereby enhancing efficiency and boosting production capacity.
This project will further enhance production efficiency and management standards, enabling us to meet growing market demand, better position ourselves in the international marketplace, and deliver even higher‑quality service to our customers. As a result, Shanghai Jinxiang and Shanghai Shangcai will strengthen their technological foundation and bolster their confidence.
