On October 15, 2018, the Great Wall Institute of Metrology, a national metrology authority, together with experts from the Shanghai Institute of Quality Inspection and the Shanghai Institute of Metrology, convened at Shanghai Shangcai Testing Machine Co., Ltd. to hold a symposium on drafting standards for Knoop hardness testers and hardness block reference standards.
