If China is a towering tree, then Xi’an is undoubtedly its root. As the ancient capital of thirteen dynasties, with a history of over 3,100 years and one of the world’s four great ancient capitals, it bears the enduring splendor and glory of Chinese civilization. Accordingly, all employees of Shanghai Jinxiang Mechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Shangcai Testing Machine Co., Ltd. came together to experience this historic and culturally rich ancient capital—Xi’an.

In June, a season brimming with color, all members of the Jinxiang and Shangcai family gathered together, enriching their leisure time, strengthening communication and collaboration among colleagues, and thereby further enhancing the company’s sense of unity.
We pressed on all the way—though weary, we were rewarded with a kaleidoscope of scenic vistas and mountains in countless shapes and forms, prompting us to whip out our phones and snap a few memories.

Our first stop was Yuanjia Village in Liquan, a street dedicated to folk culture, where traditional buildings with blue bricks and grey tiles, adorned with intricately carved beams and painted rafters, stand shoulder to shoulder. We were fortunate to sample Xi’an’s famous snacks right from the start—no wonder Lu You and Su Shi both composed poems praising them; the reputation truly lives up to the hype.
Second stop: Huaqing Palace Scenic Area. Emperor Qin Shihuang once “built structures and erected halls” here, and during the Western Han, Northern Wei, Northern Zhou, and Sui dynasties, hot springs were also developed. Visitors marvel at the ancient artisans’ extraordinary skill and ingenuity. Huaqing Palace is also the site of the Xi’an Incident, bearing the imprints of several dynasties’ history.
Third stop: The Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor and Terracotta Warriors—known as the Eighth Wonder of the World! Though it dates back more than two millennia, it remains… Radiant and full of spirit, exquisitely lifelike and vividly realistic.
Stop Four: [The Ming City Wall] One The ancient city wall, steeped in history, encircles the entire urban area of Xi’an and remains as impregnable as ever.

Even more touching than the joy of admiring the beautiful scenery was the heartfelt camaraderie that bound everyone together as one family. Throughout the journey, laughter and cheerful conversation flowed freely, with everyone showing genuine care and looking out for one another—never allowing personal concerns to disrupt the group. This trip deepened our understanding of one another, brought us closer, and strengthened our sense of unity, laying a solid foundation for smoother collaboration in the future.
