The production base project of Shanghai Shangcai Testing Machine Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Jinxiang Mechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. has officially broken ground!

On the morning of March 26, the production base project of Shanghai Jinxiang Mechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Shangcai Testing Machine Co., Ltd. officially broke ground. The new production base is being developed on the site of the existing facility, with a total land area of 20 mu, to be constructed in two phases: Phase I covers approximately 7 mu, and Phase II spans about 13 mu. Phase I is scheduled for completion and commissioning in 2025. At present, Phase II is being used for routine production and office operations, ensuring that supply remains unaffected.
Shanghai Jinxiang Company and Shangcai Company It is currently the only manufacturing facility in the industry that genuinely possesses both metallographic sample preparation equipment and hardness testers, backed by reliable expertise and a substantial production scale. Following the renovation and expansion, our company will redesign, reallocate, and rationally arrange production facilities, office spaces, and material warehouses, thereby reducing operational and labor costs across all processes, enhancing production efficiency, and increasing capacity. At the same time, we will integrate IoT technologies into every stage of the manufacturing process. By deploying an integrated intelligent system that combines information management systems, human–machine interface devices such as PLC touch screens, CNC machine tools, robots, PDAs, barcode scanners, sensors, LED production dashboards, and other hardware and software components, we will enable dedicated equipment on the shop floor to perform real-time data collection, control, and monitoring throughout the entire production cycle—from raw material receipt to finished‑goods warehousing. Truly achieve the development of industrial informatization.
This project will further enhance production efficiency and management capabilities, enabling us to meet growing market demand, better position ourselves in the international marketplace, and deliver superior customer service.
